Scrolling down my mummy's blog-so many forgotten things. Makes me long for my past lives. It doesn't seem quite possible I'll never be in that house with my best friend again, running around and trying to make echoes. Or bouncing a bouncy ball along the hall, and quickly blaming Daddy when it hit the light fixture (true story-he did break a light bulb with a bouncy ball)
So I am content with photos and emailing. I still miss the suppressing heat, the joy of the first rain. The noisy classrooms with the old-fashioned desks and windows without screens. Walking into a mosquito net in the middle of the night when you have to pee like nobody's business. (Don't ask how many times that happened-I lost track after about 57)
But, hey, I am content now.
I guess.
random, but I LOVE my friends. One thing about having so many is that I love going to different ones when I'm in different moods. Andi and Kristen if you m=need to spill out a secret, Maddie and Alex and Sariah and Quinn if you just want fun, Anneka and 'Lisabeth if you desperately want to tease someone, Clara for a laugh, the guys if you want to talk about something OTHER than guys or makeup....Just kidding. Though most girls don't appreciate a good book. They are all slow readers which can bug me. Well, not all. Most. The list goes on. And they all are like my sisters. Or brothers.
I think you are having a wonderful and interesting life. You appreciate the life far away/in the past and yet appreciating the people with you that are near and now is a great quality.
